When it comes to laying me to rest.....

..............there are far worse locations than this around.

This mediaeval church at Melverley, just a few miles from where we live, is in a lovely location by the river and dates back at least 1013 years. And there is plenty of room left for a wee plot.

The only problem is that the river floods in autumn and winter time so I may well get wet from time to time.

Not that I will care 'cos I will not be there PTL!

Hard to believe it floods on a day like today with the sun shining and the river level at least 30' below 'ground' level, so much so that you cannot see it at all on the right of the photo.
