A Tree Still Standing
When I took this blip on Princes Street this morning, it was to catch the sun patiently waiting behind the murk of cloud in the hope that it would shine down on us poor mortals who had girded our loins to resist storm Agnes battering us into submission and who had in the end never felt her fury.
It was only when looking at the picture at home that I could see a resemblance between the tree in Princes Street Gardens and the iconic tree felled last night beside Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland. It’s hard to understand why anyone would chose to deliberately cut that one down other than sheer badness. I hope they find the people responsible and make the punishment fit the crime, not just a slap on the wrist.
I seem to be getting somewhere with my TV pixelation problem. Having complained to the powers that be that at least 3 flats in the block have similar problems the site engineering firm are sending someone out to look into it. Result!
