Thursday: Pickled Onions

Spots of rain first thing, but I gambled on weather improving and got a load of bedding dried outdoors, before heavy rain arrived late afternoon :-))

MrD had gone off early to Llangefni, first stop Tatws Trading veggie stall where he bought a kilo of pickling onions which have been peeled and salted, in today’s Blip - rinsed and dried them late afternoon, boiled cider vinegar with pickling spices and some honey and made 3 jars of pickles :-)

Garden waste bin is emptied tomorrow so I pruned the small black leaved elderflower near the side fence, the wind has been roaring and lots of leaves have fallen.

Very tired this evening, watched “Celebrity Race Around the World” and a few other programmes on iPlayer …
