This is we here it all happened only 12 days ago.
Had to come down for an interview with the police which helped my mum rationalise it. The driver has been fined £100 and three points meanwhile mums life will never be the same. It’s difficult not to feel cheated
However, the police said the driver of the pick up truck stayed with my mum until the ambulance left. Has expressed huge remorse and they genuinely thought it was just an accident and mum maybe fell in his blind spot.
It doesn’t fix it but maybe wrong place wrong time will help ease the injustice.
Told not out of hospital til after Christmas so a double low for her.
