Slowly getting better and had lots of head space to continue with the decluttering.
These books along with all my old Ladybird books have been boxed up since before the 21st century.
What to do with them?
Sifted through and decided to decant all the historical and biblical Ladybirds that my kids didn’t touch let alone me. EBay!

These Beatrix Potter have been outed and given a shelf inside. Some have too many memories to say goodbye just yet. I marvelled at how a thing of beauty books used to be. The paper jacket to protect the book, the weight of the pages and the depth of the colours. They do not make them like that any more… will they fifty years from now?

A wee nip to check in on my mum who had professed to be poorly. We came unannounced and with no answer at the front door caught her right as rain at her computer.
‘Good, I need some documents scanned’
Grr.
Two hour round trip feeling lousy, not a cup of tea or sympathy offered, but hey her scanning is done.
