2023 Wednesday — Feeding My Soul

The middle of each the week, Wednesday evening, is reserved for worship and feeding my soul. This is a capture of our pastor. We attend Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California. He’s leading us through a study of the New Testament book of Hebrews. The author of the book was never identified, but many scholars believe the Apostle Paul wrote the book.

Paul was born and raised a Hebrew and became a “completed” Hebrew. He was a scholar. He recognized the fulfillment of the Old Testament writings as he studied and compared and contrasted the words of Jesus to the teachings of Jesus to the life of Jesus Christ — to what he, Paul, had learned all throughout his young life. He realized Jesus was the long-awaited Messiah. Paul was so convinced that he could not stop telling people about Jesus the Messiah. His telling, ultimately caused Paul his life. This evening the worship was deeply touching. Our worship leader, Gia (pronounced just like the letter “G” with an “a” after it), said, “Worship is not a song you sing, it is the lifestyle you live.”

If I ever have to go to court for being a Christian, I want the folks who condemn me to have enough evidence to find me guilty.
