The interloper

We have a new kitten on the block. It is not feral and belongs to some people who have recently moved in up the street. It is now getting quite confident and is exploring the neighbourhood. Our windows are usually open and the local cats think nothing of wandering around the house. The kitten has obviously decided that our place is worth an explore. It has been another hot day. The month of September has been the hottest on record in France and tomorrow is set to break some more temperature records for the month of October. With floods in New York and weather related catastrophes becoming more and more common, it makes me very frustrated that the UK government is backtracking on climate pledges and just creating wedge issues for short term political gain rather than showing any real concern for the future of our children and the planet.
