… Arkwright’s Mill, Cromford.

What an interesting talk!
Many rooms. Many demonstrations and much information. The building dated from 1783. The machine behind the speaker was known as ‘The Devil’ (because it took 10 seconds to stop if ‘something’ became caught in it. Horrifying).
I surprised myself in a different room, by feeling something ‘presence-ish. At the end, I asked the guide if anyone mentioned things like that, he said yes. I said, don’t tell me where, I’ll tell you.
So I did.
And he said, ‘yes’.
