Waiting for his fish supper

Behind these steamed up windows, a couple are enjoying their fish suppers.


Meanwhile this hungry one-legged gull waits.
 
It was the strong aroma of fish and chips that alerted me, in passing, to the reason for the bird’s presence.
 
 
It’s the first time I have seen this one legged bird though the area is frequented in summer by a large number of seagulls drawn to this corner of Bridge of Allan by the local chippie, the Allan Water café, where folk travel for miles to buy their very popular fish suppers and ice cream.
