A new danger
We live on the edge of the countryside and this road is the start of a favourite walk of mine..
But two days running I have had electric cars come from behind and only some sixth sense caused me to stop.
The cars are totally silent.
On both occasions the drivers looked embarrassed reluctant to toot their horns. But how are we supposed to know they are there?
On returning home I googled it. Sure enough up popped the headline:
electric cars: silent killers?
government regulations.
Has anyone else come across this problem? it affects a whole raft of people from walkers, to seniors, those hard of hearing, along with the visually impaired and the increasing number of people of all ages walking while plugged into social media.
