First the Blue........

...........and now the Yellow Dutch Irises are open. I have already blipped Yellow Flag irises and Blue Dutch ones but these are always a little later. The big advantage with the Dutch ones is that the flowers last a lot longer and are excellent for cutting. You may have gathered that I am rather fond of Irises to say the least!!! - the few remaining bluebells are looking much the worse for wear now - I really must cut them down!!

Weather is a little brighter this morning - we really could do with some rain though (it is forecast) - the soil is very dry!. Temperature is about 52 deg. F.
