Brunch and movies

John and I had our covid and flu jabs this morning.  There was a confusion over our appointment (it wasn't booked) but they took us in anyway and squeezed us in to my relief.

Then I went for brunch with my girl friends.  Dena is getting married on Thursday.  It was only planned 5 weeks ago and the only guests are the parents on both sides and so we didn't have time to arrange much of a hen do, but we had a lovely brunch at a local pub that has a lovely outside area.  We decorated the table and did some table favours and a tasteful Mr and Mrs quiz. We all enjoyed catching up.

I had a quick nap and then did a bit of tidying in the garden, cut down the sunflowers and tomato plants.  

Then we had a movie night.  B has a camera that prints onto paper.  It's like a Polaroid camera but instead of the expensive Polaroid paper it prints black and white pictures onto cheap til roll paper.  It's actually rather good.  This is a photo of a photo she took just before our movie.  We were laughing as she had 3 second to run around and join us on the sofa and this was about the 4th attempt.  I like it as we are all smiling and having fun together.
