Brownies

Quarter end so a rather frantic day at work with everyone trying to get bills out.  Then home and my first week helping at Brownies.  I didnt have to do very much though as they had booked a lady to come and do a talk on British Wildlife.  She was brilliant and showed the girls a rare smooth snake, a toad, a hedgehog (not native, this one is actually an African Pygmy) and a tawney owl.   The owl was 18 years old!  I enjoyed it as much as the girls.  They were so well behaved and all asked lovely questions.  I need to go to sleep now as have to go to the London office tomorrow on the 7am train and planned an early night which I have failed at!
