It's a win for Europe!
Whatever's been going on in the house today, it's been dominated by the final day of the Ryder Cup.
A week of golf in Spain for D then home in time for the Ryder cup. Great planning by the golfers (our golfers that is, not the professionals :-))
Whilst D spent the afternoon ensuring all his activities were within sight of a TV, I disappeared to the study after lunch and finished the clothes line painting I started yesterday. I'm happy with it but going to do another version of it on Saunders Waterford paper to try it out. Today's one was painted on Arches 300lb cold pressed cotton paper.
When I went to the kitchen to make a cuppa D had settled in front of the TV to watch the conclusion of the tournament. Lola was hilarious as although she's sitting down in the shot, she kept standing up at crucial moments and blocking D's view of the telly. It was hilarious! He was much more tolerant of her blocking his view than we would have been if it had been me!
Alan and Vickie headed to Dundee mid afternoon to pick up Alan's pal Andrew. They had a pub dinner before heading back in time go get ready to go and see Busted at the Hydro in Glasgow. Andrew was happy that the support group is Hanson.
They all headed off just after 6pm and left me in peace. Bliss.
Making the most of the calm as the rest of the week is hectic!
