Parsnip!

My first ever home grown parsnip ! I grew it in my raised bed that Rob built me this year, and it has certainly grown long and fat.
There’s quite a lot of damage around the top, I don’t know why, but we ate it roasted with our dinner and it was very good!
I think this convinces me that raised beds are the way ahead on our stony ground, hopefully we will get two more going over the winter, and they may even have some glazing!
