Taking Flight

We made it to Mass this morning but didn’t stay for teas and coffees. After a final tidy, we set off for sunny Leith to park our car and to have lunch with son no 1 and his girlfriend. I was surprised to find that they’d already decked out their flat for Halloween!
We headed over to the White Lady in Corstorphine, where we’re staying overnight as we’re on a 7am flight to Palermo in the morning. It’s a Wetherspoon pub and hotel (not a fan) but the room and the food were both considerably better than we’d anticipated. They just need to fix their WiFi.
Bath next and then an early night. However I suspect that I won’t get much sleep. I’ve set our alarm for 4.30am.
