The Town of Towers
Sadly some of the towers were destroyed during the Spanish Civil War but there are still plenty to see and climb. This is taken from the Torre Salvador (which I blipped from the outside yesterday). Lots of exploring Teruel today after our hearty (and free) breakfast at the Parador. I’m still astonished that such a beautiful town has escaped mass tourism over the years. After a brief pit stop at a cafe en route, Mr P and I arrived at our flat in Valencia and unloaded a surprising amount of paraphernalia for such a small car (we’re also taking stuff to Mr P’s brother in Seville later this month). It was packed to the gunnels!
It took us ages to find a parking space and then we had to buy food and unpack. Very hot here. Too hot for us. I’m hoping it’ll cool down soon!
