Grey Heron

When I got to the loch there were 5 heron landing on the slope from different directions, it was amazing to see. As they landed they sorted out their pecking order by chasing each other. When  they settled I started to feed them. The little female (pictured) always has the prime position right next to me with the others nearest depending on their position in the pecking order. I did manage to feed them all but some got more than others.
Not so many crows today but the got their biscuits!
