In Clifden

I back blipped yesterday and this is a back blip too!

We had another excellent day and the weather was kind.

We arrived in Clifden on a sleepy Sunday afternoon and had an hour to explore. In a tiny side street I found this remarkable window, complete with elderly resident.

Later, I found an open pub and went in for (the loo) and half of Guinness. I hoped for a character or two. The gentleman in front told me that the Guinness was “the best” here, although he drinks it only in the winter. I missed the moment where he went to the loo and had a fag hanging off his bottom lip!

The two men are watching the golf, just as Europe won.
