I woke at 7am all bright eyed and raring to go!!! Olly and partner arrived at 8am, followed by the equipment and materials to do the job. There are several areas to be sorted but all of them need to have the turf and underlying clay removed. They managed to fill a small skip in a short period of time. The digger that arrived last night did fit through the garden gate as it was adjustable!!! I was impressed with the way they they have protected the driveway from damage.

Amber was well behaved and was fascinated by the noisy equipment and goings on, as she sat at the patio window.

As they worked outside, I provided a regular supply of tea and coffee whilst I finished off shortening the landing curtains. They are now up and looking good.

B’s car behaved itself today, no problems with releasing the brakes. It will need to be checked out as this is intermittent, so a worry.
