I cored (Thank you Libeccio) a bunch of apples for this cake recipe this afternoon, and experimented with a mix of whole wheat, oat and almond flours. Turned out pretty tasty. 

A long but good day with orientation in the morning, a zip across to the early voting station with Isabelle, and a roundtrip to C'ville to return her to school. We had dinner with her at the O Hill dining hall, some interesting veggie frito pie, and then headed back north. Saw the moon over the trees at the horizon, huge and orange as a pumpkin. So good to have I. home the past few days.
