Castle

Worked today. Went for a cycle before lunch. Nina is home on break the next three weeks and Mindy was off so we went o lunch together.
I made spaghetti for dinner and then tended to some things in the garden while Mindy worked on her modeling project for the medieval castle course she is taking. I What she is building is really cool and it has been fascinating to try to answer design questions by referencing real world examples. How thick should my walls be if they are so high, how many buttresses do I need for a wall that is so long, etc. Adding this modeling component to the class is a brilliant move from a pedagogical perspective.
