Barrowford

There are two routes that I routinely take when driving from Salford to Kirkby Lonsdale; the quick boring one, up the M61 and M6, and then a more scenic one, that heads more directly north, passing Bury and Burnley, and through Barrowford.

It's a quaint little town, and it used to occur to me that the Minx and I might spend a weekend there, but, actually, I'm not sure that there's that much to do.

Anyway, we passed through this evening, driving up after work, to finish decorating the living room and prepare for visitors!
