Patching things up
Well, that's what's not happening here. For various reasons, I can't Blip the protests, much as I would like to. The only kids who made it into my daughter's nursery this morning were those of significant Brit extraction; capable French teacher described the emergency measures she'd take if they ended up 'under siege'. When I lived in Jerusalem, most of my friends' kids went to the French school and there was significant consternation when a suicide bomber detonated outside the shool's perimeter and his head landed in the playground. But everyone was back in class the next day, so I think we can cope with a bit of tear gas.
