Storks

We went to the Knepp rewilding estate for a walk today. We got up close and personal with longhorn cattle, saw (and heard) a few red deer, kestrels, buzzards, woodpeckers, and STORKS! They were my main reason for wanting to visit, so I was quite happy when we saw a couple briefly flying above some trees. However, when we got to the hammer pond, there were fourteen of them circling overhead. It was quite a sight (see Extras). We rounded off our 11k walk with lunch at the on site cafe, so a good day all round.
