Athlone, Hilversum 1 & 2

Bit of a cop out Blip this evening.

On holiday other Mrs.BB & I got bitten something rotten by Mosquitos. Mine didn't really bother me until waking this morning to see the bites spreading out into blotches.

Anyway, by the afternoon said blotches were around 1.5" in diameter & your Gal was feeling a bit rotten so she visited the local walk-in centre for a check over.

The Doctor is thinking it's an allergic reaction to the number of bites and has prescribed a course of Penicillin.

So here we are and you lovely people inside my phone don't wish to see what I have just been talking about so in reply to a couple of replies from yesterday's blip, here is the "Dial"* showing both Athlone (Ireland) & Hilversum (Netherlands), around the approximate frequencies where they could be found if the propagation was favourable.

( * am conscious that 'da Kids' have grown up with very different looking tuning methods for radio, and more recently the only radio signals being involved highly likely to be DAB digital, Bluetooth, WiFi or Mobile Phone network rather than AM or FM analogue! )
