Bondi

We spent the morning down at Bondi beach people watching. I say people, but mainly surfers.

It takes a brave soul to battle those waves. Most of today's participants were involved in several total wipe outs. I followed one guy and his orange board, he never made it to standing, he kept getting pushed back to the shore by incoming waves. He must have been exhausted trying to paddle out.

In the afternoon we did the Opera House tour. Our guide was a joy, bright, cheerful, knowledgeable, and engaging. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take photos inside the Opera House. I don't know why. The main Concert Hall was jaw-dropping, having been refurbished throughout CoVid.

Then a stroll through the Botanics before rain(!) stopped play. A rest is always welcome.
