Nothing to do with a Cuckoo

While doing a spot of gardening this evening I noticed some deposits on my Fuchsia bush, which I think are Cuckoo Spit. I've not noticed this before in my garden. Cuckoo Spit despite it's name has nothing whatsoever to do with the bird. It is secreted by immature nymphs of the Froghopper insect.
