Away from the Chalets..

Drove NWish to Nozeroy today, away from the ski resorts & back to old towns with mellow buildings. In mediaeval times Nozeroy was a major fortified town in the region. We had a look around this afternoon - lots of old buildings which proved difficult to photograph for a variety of reasons - angle of the sun, the narrowness of the streets, cars, street furniture, etc. The main Blip shows one of the original gates, which was originally a much larger structure with turrets either side. The first extra shows the interior of the gate with what was originally a hospital building on the right & the second extra has detail of the hospital entrance.
