The challenge...

A few of the roads that I use regularly around where I live are still single track, scattered with passing places.   

Those drivers who aren't use to them cause all sorts of problems including not pulling in to allow vehicles behind them to pass, and crossing the carriageway to get into a passing place, causing heart failure for anyone coming in the other direction.

Slowly the roads are being made into double track, though, and this blip was taken this morning between Tighnabruaich and Glendaruel .  It not only illustrates the scale of the work required, but also the conditions today (and for the last few weeks) which delay all outside activity.  

In addition to the rain , low cloud was also pushing down both visibility and spirits !
