Finished
At last the upcycled sideboard is finished so it’s time for a blip. I wanted something colourful and bright to contrast with the wooden panelling. I like it, MrMacD is thinking about it.
We started the morning by going to Mitre10 to pick up the small vanity (ie washbasin and cupboard) for the garden loo. We also bought some paint so I can paint the loo before the plumber comes to install the toilet and vanity. It’ll be much easier than trying to do it after the items have been installed. We then called into the Stihl shop and bought a chainsaw on a pole so we can keep as many of the trees trimmed as possible. We will be very careful when using it.
I made yoghurt, cracker biscuits, granola, and roasted some nuts and seeds to make sprinkles for porridge and anything else that takes our fancy. MrMacD researched some items we need and spent time in the garden. The day started with fog that rolled in, then rolled back, then rolled in for quite some time. It was fascinating to watch. As a result it was a tad cold and bleak until late afternoon when the sunshine finally appeared and the air warmed up.
