Warning! Selfie Alert!

Bring on the night hobbling!  My new headtorch arrived today and we were reminiscing about the very first one we had which was fitted with a searchlight something akin to Stuart Minion's eye and was fuelled by several of those D sized batteries which were carted around in a cumbersome bumbag.   The battery for this new one weighs in at 1.9oz and sits snugly and painlessly on the back of my head and it is 400 Lumen (whatever that means!)   Oo the fun of a new toy!

It's been a dismal, wet yet unseasonably warm day so Angela and I took the chance of getting out for a walk this afternoon when it looked like it was easing a little.  I picked up some cards from the garden centre en route because we have just heard that our Czech friends welcomed their second daughter to the world yesterday, so welcome Terezie! xx
