Last day!
We went to the new Grand Egyptian Museum today, it isn’t t open yet but you can pay three times the price of the current Egyptian museum in town as part of their soft opening to marvel at the architecture of the building, look at Rameses II in the lobby and visit the shops and cafe. Actually, all v good - all the things I enjoy in a museum. Then to an afternoon by the pool for Italian homework, swimming and books. I talked clare into handstands and head over heels in the pool, she overcame her doubt and agreed they were good things to do.
Then to our last evening. A horrendous, v loud singing man who popped up all over the place which made me laugh a lot. And then we got directed to different shops!! Two shops, one with a gossipy man who first off told me not to go to the other shop because it was so expensive. And then told me off because I told the other shop man what he said. Bought some nice pictures ( from the non - gossipy man), told the GM we would be back to him in the morning (we won’t), really this hotel needs to sort their marketing out.
And because our holiday is now measured in hours left, we are off up the hill at 7am tomorrow to have a look at everything.
