I am so delighted that you were entertained by yesterday’s photo. 
This morning I shared the picture with a neighbor and he asked if that noise last night was me. 
This evening I shared it with a different neighbor and she was blown away by how the light looked like ribbon. 

This evening a different neighbor found a big praying mantis in the road. After taking lots of pictures I moved it to vegetation because I didn’t want it to get run over. 

Ukraine froze the Ukrainian assets of three Russian businessmen over support for Russia’s war. 

Russia’s destruction of its own Su-35 fighter, an advanced frontline jet, has been confirmed by British officials. The British Defense Ministry said it had 80-90 percent confidence that a Su-35s was destroyed in the incident. It is their most advanced combate jet in widespread service. Supposedly they just did it again today. 

Putin gave a speech at an annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club and messed up a simple Russian saying, forgot the name of someone he was asked about just months ago, and contradicted himself when talking about the existence of private military companies in Russia. 

A Russian pilot on vacation with his family in the United Arab Emirates went to the US Embassy because he didn’t want to take part in the war. He was possibly inspired by his friend Lt. Anton Vasiliev who left Russia during the war and now lives in L.A. 

Denmark is going to open a diplomatic mission in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, which they’ve pledged to help rebuild. They are also going to donate 20 million kroner to Ukraine’s cybersecurity. 

The Dossier Center, an investigative site founded by Russian opposition figure Mikhail Khodorkovsky, found the addresses of Russia’s secret military buildings, institutions, and spy homes in a document published on the Moscow City Hall website. These were properties where there must be “no blackouts.”
