Friday: Local Ferry

It was exceptionally hot today (around 37 degrees and very humid) but we still drove down to Xunantunich to show Andrew some Mayan sites.  The views are amazing and it’s such a peaceful spot.

I’ve blipped them a few times before so today I decided to show you the hand cranked ferry (and our car) that takes us over the river from Succotz to Xunantunich.  So you don’t feel completely cheated I’ve add an extra of the site itself.

We had an excellent lunch at ‘Guava Limb’ in San Ignacio, one of the best meals I’ve had in Belize.
