Two castles in Tynemouth...

...I don't think so...

A walk along the front before we came home , as far as The Park Hotel. It fell into a very sorry state and then was bought out, but any developments came to a halt over Covid lockdowns. 

The aftermath of Covid - and Brexit - was that materials were hard to get - particularly the windows - so the refurb was very stop/start. At last,  it is looking good, and almost ready for opening as "The Tynemouth Castle Inn" ( probably just in time for Christmas! ).

So there are two castles in Tynemouth - how silly!
