Today's the day ........................ for the Festival of Light

Lovely to have Rob, Anna and the girls here today - to celebrate the Festival of Light  which has been happening for the last few days in Kirkcudbright.

The girls spent the afternoon constructing their paper lanterns, ready for the procession through town.  There were all sorts of attractions to see including a performing fire-eater.  The funfair was in town too (see extra) and the evening ended with a firework display.

It's the final event put on by the Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities and was a great way to round things off ...................
