Got Habitat?

This sign in my yard is a constant reminder for me to always consider the 'other than human' beings that I share this space with! Landscaping with plants 'native' or at least 'friendly' to one's locale and not invasive species is an important concept, especially in a place like Florida, where I live. Here, if you drop it on the ground ...it grows. We have a very large problem here with introduced species, both fauna and flora! Google ' South Florida: pythons' for a prime example of this!

So the theme, at least here in the space I'm temporary custodian of , is: 'provide habitat...grow native'!
