Lots going on today so what's new?

Car in for a service so D heard off to the garage in Perth at 8.30am.  Electrician arrived just before 10am to fix the wall socket for the Aga.  It blew late spring, just before we switched it off for the summer but it's switching on time again.  Thankfully it seemed a straightforward fix and the Aga has been warming up nicely throughout the day.  Should be ready to use tomorrow.

D returned to Perth to collect the car and I spent a little while in the studio till my friend S and her friend (and colleague) M arrived from Skye.  They're attending a work related course in Perth so staying with us till Friday.  S will be back here on 15th October with the rest of her family but we are under instruction not to let the girls know she was here without them.  They wouldn't be happy :D 

Lots of chatting over coffee, then Prosecco then dinner.  It was lovely to meet M as I've heard a lot about her.  One of these people you meet for the first time and within half an hour you feel you've known them for years.

In the blink of an eye it was midnight and time for bed.  How time flies when you're blethering having fun :-)
