A little corner of autumn...

After being out and about the last few days, today was a home day.

Some chores, some crochet and sorting out birthday cards for the October & November birthdays.  A stock take of the garden freezer and a wee wander in the garden.  Should have come in for the big camera and put the macro lens on as such interesting colours to capture.  Maybe later in the week.

Dinner was a new dish made from the Fast Roasting Tin cookbook - scallops, leek and chorizo gratin.  It was a huge hit.  Served with crusty baguette it was absolutely delicious.  I've put it on my fancy starter list for special meals when entertaining :-)
