If you look closely you can see that Scout is holding Dylan's head in his paw, not a bad trick for a three legged cat.  For the record the video is even cuter.

Horrifying news from Israel and the attack by Hamas today. Insane. Between them and Netanyahu the whole area is a tragedy. These people are monstrous.

Strider did brunch for us this morning and a mighty fine affair it was too. My favourite meal of the day.

"Operation Garage Banned" kicked off in earnest today. Empty it, clear all the accumulated wood and crap on the roof, move Strider's books into storage and then:

Knock it down. 

Now it is made of dozens of concrete panels each about the height of a door tall and about half a door in width. I hope to enlist the help of our local Superhero, Rob, who is good at these things. Taking it down safely then getting out and disposing of the panels will be a big task. I am told there are people who will buy these things off you or at least take them away for free. fingers crossed.
