Pathfinder

I had the stones delivered for a new path from the house to the shack today. I laid them out as I wanted them and now need to do the work of properly levelling and setting them. The shack has become so popular as an extra room that a new path has become something of a necessity given the heavy rainfall we’ve had lately. Anyway I spaced them very carefully and introduced a gentle curve that I’m quite pleased with so hopefully it will blend in nicely over time.

I also put up some wall panels in the shack today - more to do and gaps to fill - but looking good (see extra).

Ms R came home from hospital today. I had to drive her car back (it has been parked on the road by the hospital since last Wednesday when she was admitted via the emergency department). Haven’t driven a manual car for a couple of years but you get back in the groove very quickly.

Watched True Lies tonight which I was astonished to see was thirty years old this year. Silly and entertaining but also dated in places.
