Fossicking Around

Spotted these two rainbow lorikeets fossicking around in all the crevasses of this newly shaped palm tree.  They gave me the evil eye for a while and then eventually went back to their business at hand, probably eating insects that live up there.

It’s been a nice cool day which was a relief after the two hot days we had.
I met up with a couple of friends at a picnic area near the river which was absolutely packed with people taking advantage of the lovely day.  
We had afternoon tea and a lovely time catching up on each others news, a very pleasant day! : )
