Our Sunday morning walk...

Along the beach and then through the woods and back along the beach, No! We were thwarted by this raging torrent across the footpath. No way around. The rain had abated but the ground water run off was still an issue. My boots are waterproof but my dog is not. I was game to attempt a crossing but perhaps wisely he was having none of it.

Time to get the Sunday papers and enjoy a leisurely brunch. Satisfyingly finished the crossword.
