Ironbridge

Where we stayed at Much Wenlock last night was just a few miles from Ironbridge so after breakfast we went for a quick visit. I have been there once before, I think it was about 1969 and nothing like as commercialised or tidied as it is now if my memory serves me.

It was good to get there before too many other folk and it was easy to get it without folk in the way. I have removed two people who were on the bridge. I've added a couple of extras. One from the other side of the bridge against the light and one of Ludlow Castle where we stopped and had a coffee sitting in the sun.

We drove back along the England/Wales border to Bristol then back on the M5 to home. It's been a great trip and the highlights were the fallow deer who visited us at least twice daily and of course the Sea Eagle trip. Thank you very much for your attention to that blip. I think it peaked at #5 in the populars which is amazing for me.
