Badminton after school in the October heat

It was another bizarre day’s weather today.

Our 8 year old wanted to play badminton in ‘the summer’ weather as his, soon to be 11, brother did his maths homework!

When I finished my voluntary night shift very early this morning I heard two owls hooting as sky lightened. Quite a rare sound in towns these days.
