Grass Arch Bee

Another lovely warm and sunny day. The gilia from my Sea of Blue sowing went to seed ages ago but has produced one small, last flowerhead. This common carder bee was enjoying it this afternoon. I got a decent shot of the bumblebee in flight but preferred this image because of the way the blade of grass is framing the insect and flower.
