Suspended In Mid Air

After an extremely tiring but enjoyable weekend with my sister, we said our farewells for another few months. We had been to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens  on Saturday and were both struck by the lovely gourds. Sis decided to buy one and I took a picture of it this morning with the idea of painting it in watercolour.

When I looked at the shot, and after a little change to the background, I loved this 'suspended in mid-air affect'. The colours of the gourd are just gorgeous. Can't wait to paint it.
