The bathroom fitter arrived at 08:30 and has stripped out the bathroom appliances, wall and floor tiles. 

Shortly afterwards, I nipped over to Denbigh to buy a new bib tap for the garage and also called in at the supermarket for pastries, biscuits etc.

Tradesmen always work better when offered a constant supply of tea and biscuits.

I busied myself by removing a section of wrought iron railings at the front of the house and applying teak oil to a couple of garden chairs before I put them away over the winter.

This 1972 mark III Austin 1100 was parked up in town. Production of the BMC ADO16 series started in 1962 and finished in 1974.
