Blocks

At the Knitting and Stitching Show Joanne and I took part in a workshop - Indian Block Printing. We had great fun and actually produced something. The chickens are on a cushion cover that I decorated; Joanne used all kinds of sealife blocks to decorate a tote bag. 

Today I unearthed some old blocks similar to the ones we were using. I'm not sure where these came from, although I do remember a stall in Camden Market years ago. It's a long time since they were used, they look a bit battered and I suspect they have acrylic paint on them, which should have been washed off and wasn't. Anyway I will try them with fabric paint, which is what we were using, and see what happens.
